"El Boyero" Sculputure, at the entrance of Boyeros Hotel  "This sculpture was made by Johnny García Clachar, Guanacate artist, to honor the Boyeros Hotel founder, Mr. Heriberto Rodríguez Chinchilla.

Mr. Rodríguez is represented in this sculpture, as a recognition for his extraordinary labor as a man that has experienced land work and ox driving since childhood as his father. The ox cart was the most important way of transportation in the country side, 40 years ago.

Without formal education, he worked as truck assistant, truck driver and later as a truck business owner for 22 years; achieving the foundation of Boyeros Hotel, in 1970.

This sculputure is a tribute to all men who reach their dreams through their work."
